Jose de la Maza

Jose de la Maza holds a degree in Civil Engineering (University of Granada) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IESE Business School, Barcelona, having also studied at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Jose has worked for the strategic consultancy McKinsey & Company, where he was a strategy consultant, and in several of the largest international construction and real estate groups in Spain (Ferrovial, FCC and Metrovacesa). He has more than twenty years of experience in the industry and leading management consulting projects at an international level, analysing complex situations and problems and proposing implementable solutions to his clients. Jose has led more than 60 consulting studies for public, private and multilateral clients such as the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in 25 different countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Since 2014 he has been the Managing Director of Aninver, which in 2019 was acquired by the British consulting group IMC Worldwide and has recently become IMCW Europe, the European regional office for this group, with the headquarters remaining in Malaga.
