Maria Paz Hurtado Cabrera is a graduate in Marketing and Commercial Management, founder and Executive President of Hutesa Agroalimentaria, SA, member of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Malaga Businesses, President of the Foreign Trade and International Relations Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Malaga, as well as a member of its plenary body. Member of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Andalusian Businesses and President of the Council of Family Businesses in this Andalusian confederation. Due to her professional career, Maria Paz Hurtado has first-hand knowledge of the most important cities in at least 60 countries, in which she has both commercial and institutional contacts.
Hutesa is a family business with more than 30 years of history dedicated to the packaging and export of table olives. At the moment it has a presence in 57 countries, with regular sales in more than 35 of these, including in addition to the European Union and Eastern European countries, countries such as United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, India, Georgia, Yemen, Kuwait, and Angola, and Guinea, Nigeria and South Africa, among others. It is a pioneer in many of these foreign markets, to which 100% of the production is destined, with a presence on 5 continents, with Asia as the second continent in sales after Europe.
Hutesa holds the most important certifications worldwide, such as BRC food certification, IFS Food, FDA, ISO 9001 and 14001. It also holds Halal certification and we are in the process of obtaining Kosher certification and SA 8000 for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Finally, we would like to highlight Hutesa’s commitment to innovation and the continuous improvement of all its processes, as well as the investments that are currently being made and which will lead it, for example, to increase its storage and production capacity for table olives.
