The port of the city is the second one in Andalusia transporting goods and passengers. The first one is Algeciras port. In Spain, the malaguenian port is between the five more visited by cruise passengers.

In this way, there is a contest to build a nautical sport zone on docks 1 and 2 to promote the mega yacht traffic.
